Adamsdown Homework Club, which has been a massive success over the last year, is now offering a club day for primary years 3 & 4 every Sunday at 10 until 12. The first session is on the 15th.
The Saturday sessions are running as normal, starting back up after the easter holidays on the 7th of May and the High School Sessions are running through the Easter holidays with emphasis on GCSE revision.
We regularly organise trips and outing for each class and vary from a trip to the library or museum, to trips to the Big pit and Techniquest.
Homework Club is a great way for young people to dedicate time outside of school to homework and academic progression. We are supported by trainee teachers from Cardiff University and local resident volunteers. We promote a open way of learning and do not put excess pressure on the young people to preform to a set standard. We support and nurture growth and encourage a healthy engagement in the community.
Please get in contact with
Alison if you have a child interested in attending any homework club days.
